The economy has already been seriously impacted by COVID-19, and families, workers, businesses and communities will be affected for years to come. It's time to think about how to leverage our strengths so that Canada can meaningfully recover.
Fortunately, our country possesses considerable natural prosperity, a highly educated, innovative labour force, a developed industrial base and the highest environmental and regulatory standards in the world. Strengthening our competitive advantages will enable Canada's natural resource industries to sustainably lead the way to economic recovery.
Convened by Resource Works, the diverse coalition behind the Task Force for Real Jobs, Real Recovery has developed a set of recommendations to advise the federal government on industrial strategy, competitiveness issues and energy and natural resource policy.
